What is CDAP?

Due to a high volume of interest, the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) Boost Your Business Technology grant is fully subscribed and is no longer accepting new applications. If you have a valid CDAP grant agreement, you can continue to work with us and submit your claim for reimbursement once your Digital Plan is complete. Be sure to check when your agreement expires and submit your claim before that date to remain eligible for the grant.

Offered through the Government of Canada, CDAP is the ideal way for your business to increase its technology effectiveness in order to remain competitive and continue to evolve with how business practices are done today. To help navigate this digital economy, CDAP offers grants to small and medium-sized businesses.

Your Business, Your Plan, Just Not Your Money

Boost Your Business Technology Grant

Any eligible Canadian small or medium business can apply for this government grant to cover the cost of developing its digital plan. Here, the government will pay 90% (up to $15,000) of the total cost to hire The I.T. Company as your Digital Advisor on this process. If your digital plan is accepted, you may receive a 0% loan – up to $100,000 – to implement it.

Am I eligible for CDAP?

Only you can answer this. Here are the criteria:

Are you an owner or director of a small or medium-sized business?
Is your business for-profit and privately owned?
Are you incorporated federally, or provincially, or are a Canadian resident sole proprietor?
Do you employ 1 – 499 full-time employees?
Did you earn a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenues in one of the previous three tax years?

That’s it! If you said “yes”, then all you need is a certified CDAP Advisor to support your application process.

What can your CDAP Plan include?

This grant covers The I.T. Company’s services to develop your Digital Adoption Plan. Just some of the items that can included in your Digital Adoption Plan are:

Acquiring and/or updating IT equipment.
Installing new technologies.
Training staff with new digital solutions.
Streamlining processes and automating key operating procedures.
An in-depth cyber security audit.
Migrating to the cloud.
Advisory services for certain aspects of the Digital Adoption Plan.

Bonus benefits!

Ability to apply for a 0% loan of up to $100,000 to implement your digital adoption strategy.
Wage subsidy of up to $7,500 for to hire students or recent graduates to help implement digital technologies outlined in the adoption plan.

APPLY

Draft the application for the grant, ensuring you’ve properly identified your digital needs.

ASSESS

We assess existing technology, processes, and people to identify gaps between where you are now and where you want to be so we can develop a plan that meets your needs.

ADOPT

Create the digital adoption plan, including an implementation schedule, cost outline, and key priorities of the completed plan.
